  • Andrea Allsup

    DVM

    Andrea Allsup, DVM, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She worked in biomedical research for 4 years in Palo Alto, California before attending veterinary school at the University of California, Davis. Her patients include dogs and cats, as well as pocket pets. Dr. Allsup has been part of the VCA family since 2005. Her own family enjoys the company of three beloved felines including the adorable but mischievous junior feline member, Harry.

  • Diana Kobashigawa

    DVM

    Dr. Kobashigawa received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in General Biology. After graduation she worked in human medical research at UC San Francisco Department of Medicine. Then she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. After graduation from UC Davis, Dr. Kobashigawa obtained additional training as an intern at the California Animal Hospital, in the Department of Surgery and Emergency. She worked in emergency medicine for several years before entering general practice. Dr. Kobashigawa has special interests in Internal Medicine, General and Emergency Surgery, Feline and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Kobashigawa lives in the San Gabriel Valley with her husband (an ER Veterinarian) and 3 young daughters. They share their home with their beloved "Mousie" - a 3 legged, 1 eared beautiful tortoise shell cat originally from a farm in Indiana, "Squirt" - an untouchable semi-feral garage cat, and "Daisy" - an adorable old terrier.

  • Maryam Alemzadeh

    DVM

    Dr. Maryam Alemzadeh joined the team at VCA A Breed Apart in 2010. She received her Bachelor in Animal Science from California Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she moved to Moorpark, CA, where she attended the Exotic Animal Training and Zoo Management program at Moorpark College. Dr. Alemzadeh received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts. She really enjoys working with cats and dogs and also has a special interest in pocket pets, birds and reptiles. Dr. Alemzadeh lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and daughter Lily. She enjoys spending time with her family, her 2 cats "Tyson" and "Chloe" and her little guinea pig "Gwenie".
